Jim is a unique senior executive because he has developed a broad range of skills over his career. As the founder of Mustang Software in 1986 with his personal savings, he created the Wildcat! BBS software line and developed the sales and marketing strategy to successful place the product in the channel. He took Mustang Public in April 1995 and sold the company in 2000. Following Mustang Software Jim managed two corporate turnarounds (Web Associates and Starbase Corporation). Following those turnarounds, Jim did another start-up, EventMingle in 2003. Though Jim has focused his career in the technology field, he worked closely with other industries (retail, distribution, financial, Professional Services, Consulting) and would welcome opportunities in those sectors. He has also worked with many government agencies and is open to a career in the federal government as a Director, Senior Executive, CTO or CIO .
